Best Krampade Practices

We built this guide to provide a starting point as to how much Krampade you should consume, and to know which products fit your needs!

For most people, consuming two servings of Krampade 2K each day is the best way to start, generally one serving in the morning and one serving in the evening.  This is typically effective for preventing cramps while also helping with muscle performance, speeding recovery, and reducing fatigue.  Krampade also helps optimize your hydration and combat heat stress.

It is important to emphasize that this is a starting point and your needs may differ.  Some Krampade customers use 3 or more servings of Krampade 2K to meet their unique needs.  In short, consuming at least two servings of Krampade helps you feel better!

Krampade 1K

1K is perfect for older customers or customers with reduced kidney function or a heart arrhythmia (consult your physician if you have any concerns, prior to consuming Krampade).

BEST RESULTS:  Consume two (2) servings per day, one in the morning and one in the evening.  Adjust consumption as needed.

Krampade 2K

2K is our replacement for traditional sports drinks. Contains over 30x the potassium content of the leading sports drink, delivering maximum performance.

BEST RESULTS:  Consume two (2) servings, one before activity and one after activity OR one in the morning and one in the evening.  Adjust consumption as needed.

Krampade 4K

4K is for acute, active cramping; it is designed for athletes and intended to be used as needed.  Typically stops cramping in less than a minute.  NOTE:  Krampade 4K is salty for most individuals.

BEST RESULTS Consume one (1) serving at onset of cramp.  Wait 3-4 hours between servings.

Original formulation.  Designed for athletes.  Effective for everyone.

Some people find Krampade Original salty at first.  Krampade is colorless, so often your mind sees a lack of color and thinks “water.” Hence, the suprise when some customers may perceive a salty taste when it is first consumed.  Over time the mind and taste expectations adjust, so if you struggle with the taste upon your initial consumption, it will take time to begin to enjoy the taste.

Specific Use Recommendations

For Athletes

High school, college, professional, weekend warrior.  No matter what caliber of competition you participate in, Krampade is your solution to maximum performance.  Improve your recovery and hydration by drinking Krampade 2K proactively.

IDEAL USE:  Consume one (1) serving of Krampade 2K before practice/competition or consume one (1) serving of Krampade 2K during practice/competition.  Following practice/competition you may want to consume one (1) additional serving of Krampade 2K, based upon your individual needs.

Our4K product is designed for acute active cramps, so if you’re prone to cramping keep Krampade 4K on hand in case of cramping.

CRAMPING USE:  Consume one (1) serving of Krampade 4K at onset of cramping.  Wait 3-4 hours between servings.

For Women

Be prepared for that time of the month with Krampade.  Prevent discomfort by proactively drinking Krampade 2K.  Most women find Krampade 2K to be effective in stopping and preventing cramp formation.

IDEAL USE:  Consume two (2) servings of Krampade 2K per day, one in the morning and one in the evening.  Adjust consumption as needed.  Keep Krampade 4K on hand in case of cramping.

CRAMPING USE:  Consume two (2) servings of Krampade 2K the day before menstrual cycle begins.  Consume additional Krampade 2K as needed throughout cycle.  Keep Krampade 4K on hand in case of cramping, consuming one (1) serving at onset of cramping.  Wait 3-4 hours between servings.

For Nighttime Cramping

For Reduced Kidney Function

For individuals with reduced kidney function or using a potassium sparing diuretic consult your physician prior to consuming Krampade.

IDEAL USE:  If approved for use by your physician, consume 1 or 2 servings of Krampade 1K per day as needed.  For our other products, consult with your physician.  They may recommend divided servings of  Krampade 2.0 or Krampade Fiber.

CRAMPING USE:  Consume one (1) serving of Krampade 1K with onset of cramping and use only as approved by your physician.
